The oldest resort dating back to the year of 1896. Today Borovetz is the biggest, first-class mountain resort in Bulgaria. Situated at 1350m above the sea level on the northern slopes of Rila Mountain among age-old pine woods, Borovetz is located at the foot of peak Mussala (2925m) - the highest one on the Balkan Peninsula. It is easily accessible, being at a distance of 73km from Sofia and 126km from Plovdiv. The town of Samokov is only 10km down the road from the resort. There is regular bus transport to them, the buses to Samokov running every 30 minutes.Town info
Overview: The Malina Ski Chalets offer alpine style chalets situated amidst pine forests, on altitude of 1350 m above the see level, at the foot of the highest peak on the Balkans Mousala peak (2925 m)
Location: 20 min. walking to the centre.
A free ski bus service to the central lifts runs at set times during the day, whilst also providing a regular shuttle service to/from the centre throughout the evening.

Overview: Villa Ibar is a perfect choice offering really good accommodation at low costs. Upto 18 people could be accommodated in Ibar hotel so it would also be a good choice for a party of friends who want to stay together.
On the first floor there is a large sitting room with a fireplace, used by all guests of the hotel, a dining room where breakfast is served and a kitchen. On the second and third floors are the rooms and the apartments. Sauna and tennis table are in the basement.Location: near a pine forest, just 250 meters from the ski runs and main lift stations.

Overview: Yagoda ski chalets are charming Scandinavian style chalets in lovely, quiet surroundings. A peaceful location outside the resort, the Yagoda is ideal for couples or families who want to enjoy a less hectic ski holiday.
Location: The Ski Bus Stop is outside the hotel which takes you to the Ski Lift which approximately 2.5km away.
2.5km from the resort centre and nearest supermarket. Yagoda village is 3km from the nearest lift and slopes. A ski bus runs regularly to take you to and from the resort centre at Borovets.
